Rep.: How do you like life in the 21st century?
Sha.: Well, I think we are living in a really busy world. Sixty years ago life was not so hectic then
and people had a quieter lifestyle. That‘s what I would like, you know.
Rep.: As a boy, did you have any problems with “white” English people?
Sha.: Yes, at school. I felt quiet different, because my parents are from Asia. And when I wanted to
play in the school hockey team they didn‘t want an Asian boy. But then I was lucky. One of the
players became ill and they couldn‘t find anybody. So they took me. After the match everybody
thought the team had never had a better player than me.
